A Memorable Evening in Annapolis

Last night, MHAMD hosted the 2019 Legislative Briefing and Reception at the Hotel Annapolis, and it proved to be an evening we will not soon forget. We honored a distinguished group of behavioral health champions in former Maryland senators Edward Kasemeyer and Thomas “Mac” Middleton, Delegate Sheree Sample-Hughes, and the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration’s Tom Merrick. We heard from a bipartisan group of legislators on behavioral health legislation being considered by the Maryland General Assembly. And the evening concluded with a moving keynote from mental health advocate Sue Klebold. We would like to thank everyone who joined us in person or on social media. We also extend a thank you to all of our generous supporters!  We look forward to next year.
